Only unwrapped to scan.
Double set for "Nivea". 1950.
Lovely double set made by Universal in the 1950's. Two very pretty ladies, the cards are in wonderful condition, glinting gilt edges and housed in a special "pop up" box which is also in excellent condition. 52 + 2 each deck. Nice item this.
Independent Order of Odd Fellows. 1930's
Never been used 52 + 2 (one blank card) original box.
Boots Bezique: 1935.
Nice complete Bezique set retailed by "Boots Stationery Department" Although the Ace says "Goodall" they were actually made by De La Rue who took over Goodall's in 1922. Confusing as it sometimes can be DLR continued to use Goodall aces and jokers for many years after that date. So it was quite common at this time for packs to have have Goodall aces and jokers but with De La Rue rule books and markers.
Siriol Clary: 1966
Very distinctive design, made by Waddington's. 52 + 3. Never been used, box is also excellent.
Park Lane: 1960
Universal made a whole series of these "Park Lane" decks decorated with ladies posing. 52 + 2 cards have been used but not heavily, original box.
Deck by Waddingtons, with the anonymous ace used in the more expensive decks. Lovely condition, glinting gilt edges. 52 + 1 original box.
