Very few, if any, complete packs of these survive and this is a reproduction of twenty six cards from the deck, which would originally have been 78 cards. The cards were made by the "Accademia Carrara" in Bergamo Italy, where the originals of these twenty six cards are held. Not sure when this reproduction set was first produced - and I believe you can still buy them at the Academia - I have had this one since 1992.
