Oliver Twist Snap. A collier 1890.
There is some water damage to the back of the box which has caused the red dye to run a bit and a few edges at the ends of the cards have ben discoloured but only slightly and overall the cards are in wonderful condition and have never been played with. This set is rather strange in that it doesn’t have the “Bumble” Beagle set of 4 cards as illustrated on the box but it has 4 “Gamfield” Sweep cards instead. The set shown on the WOPC site does have the Bumble cards but not the Gamfield. Both this set and the WOPC set have 13 characters X 4 and as the backs of Gamfield are exactly the same and obviously belong to the set I can only assume they made different versions of the game. All the other characters are the same as the WOPC set. Up to you to decide if it detracts from the set significantly, but it is curious and I have not seen the Gamfield cards before in any other set. As with the Jovial families game this game is very hard to find complete and in their original box these days, never mind being in such wonderful condition Includes the rules.
