Interesting advertising deck made by Dondorf, "Rhineland" pattern. F 235, Produced for "Jacobson Van Der Berg" a large Dutch trading company that began trading in Indonesia in the 1860's with offices in Sumatra and Java. In 1950 the Indonesian Government nationalised all Dutch owned businesses and the company ceased operation. What makes it interesting are the double headed aces. Clubs: Czar Peter 1st, Spades: Frederic 11 of Prussia: Diamonds: Napoleon: Hearts: Wellington.
